SAN RAFAEL, Calif., Jun 28, 2001 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- Autodesk, Inc. (Nasdaq:ADSK) announced today that its Board of Directors has declared a quarterly cash dividend of $0.06 per share on its Common Stock. The dividend is payable July 20, 2001 to shareholders of record at the close of business on July 6, 2001.

As of April 30, 2001, the Company had $395 million in cash, cash equivalents and marketable securities and approximately 53.9 million shares of common stock outstanding. Autodesk reported net income of $28 million, or earnings per diluted share of $0.50, on net revenues of $246 million for the first fiscal quarter ended April 30, 2001.
